Office Envy?
January 28, 2019

It’s January so a peak time for us all here at Staff One. A new year signals change and many clients who have held back on making appointments at the back end of last year use the start of the new year to make new hires and to structure their workforce for the year ahead. It’s also the month that we experience a  peak in applications and a peak in candidates refreshing and updating us with their latest CV’s.

In a month prone to change, you might be interested to see what the latest trends are in the world of candidate applications. Even if you aren’t proactively looking for change, it’s always recommended to keep an up-to-date CV, even if it’s just to evaluate your career trajectory and earnings.

We see hundreds of candidate applications each month, ranging from the impeccable to the downright questionable. Our pals, the U.S. “big data” Stepping Blocks have helped us out this week with this handy inforgraphic showing the latest and highly recommended trends in CV design. We’ll  apologise now for their recurring use of the word “resume”. Try as we might, Americans aren’t fond of adopting the term “CV”. Either way; take a look below, give your CV the love it deserves and send us a copy whilst you’re on the case.
